wings game 1st half/ Greg Snyder

The Boston Blazers and the Philadelphia Wings squared off tonight in a match-up at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia. The first half of the game has been a very exciting one to say the least. The first quarter started off very slow with one goal a piece scored by each team. The second quarter had much more action then the first. The wings would capture seven more goals and were lead by Kyle Wailes who notched 2 goals and 1 assist, Geoff Snider with 2 assists, and Matt Giles and Jordan Levine each with 2 assists. For the visiting Boston Blazers, the team was lead by Nick Cotter who had 3 goals 2 assists, along with Kyle Ross who added 2 goals, and Matt Abbot with 2 assists. The contest is the home opener for the Wings which have a great crowd in attendance for the contest. The second half of the game should make for a very interesting conclusion.
