Pre-game & 76ers Game/ Brett

There’s about five minutes left in the first half of the Sixers games and a lot has gone on. Before the game the class got spoken to by Tom McGinnis who is the play by play for the Philadelphia 76ers. He talked to us about how you should always have the drive to pursue what you want to pursue. He stated that, “the athlete part of someone will always be with them and always be in a competitive nature.”

Anthony Gilbert also spoke to us about how if you want to be successful, get as much information as you can from the people who surround you. Anthony said “ at the end of the night, all you have are your contacts.” It makes sense too because knowing people who also know people can be very important because you get more and more information from more people.

The 76ers are playing the Sacamento Kings and are currently ahead 46-38 with 2:30 left to go in the first half of the game. Early in the first quarter, Andre Iguodala went down with a right ankle sprain but has since returned to action. After one half of basketball, Thaddeus Young leads all scorers on the court with 12 points. Behind him is Sammie Dalembert also from the 76ers with 10 points.
