The class arrived at the Wachovia Center at 5:20 and met up with Brian(instructor). We entered through the media entrance and recieved our media credentials. We walked into the court area and arranged our things in the courtside media section of the arena. Brian briefed us on the backround and duties of PR personnel and their duties. Next, the class headed back towards the area where the media and staff can grab a bite to eat and prepare before the game. After we got back to our seats the Sixer's radio play-by-play announcer lectured us on his road to where he is and some of his past experiences that have helped him along the way. So far this experience has been pretty cool. Learning more about what the media, pr personnel, and staff do has been interesting, this is my first time involved in anything like this.
